Welcome and thank you for visiting the ‘The Gregg and St Winifred’s Schools Trust’ websites.

The Trust was established for the promotion and advancement of education and the operation of a school, or schools, for such a purpose.

The Trust currently owns and operates two schools.

• St Winifred’s School (including April House Nursery) in Winn Road, Southampton, is a co-educational school and nursery catering for 2 to 11 year olds.
• The Gregg School at Townhill Park House, Townhill Park, Southampton (situated in buildings and grounds owned by the Trust) is a co-educational school for 11 to 16 year olds.

• The Friends of Townhill Park House

The Friends of Townhill Park House are a group of volunteers who are working with the Trust to restore and maintain the Gertrude Jerkyll designed sunken garden and herb garden situated in the grounds of Townhill Park House. These nationally important gardens are now registered Grade 2 on the English Heritage ‘Register of Parks and Gardens of Specific Historic Interest’ and are considered to be a dazzling jewel in the crown of Southampton’s heritage.

The Trust and the schools are managed by a dedicated body of Trustees, Heads, Managers, Teachers and Staff.

The Schools also have a Board of Governors looking after the educational and pastoral care in both schools.
