Information and Communication Technology

Emerging technology is an integral part of the world, whether it be in the home, school or workplace, providing an essential learning tool across the curriculum.

We aim to ensure that students:

• learn different ICT skills and use a wide range of software and hardware
• apply the ICT skills they have acquired to their academic work
• have opportunities to use ICT in a variety of different contexts
• have the opportunity to gain a range of formal ICT qualifications

We have a school-wide network of over 150 workstations with Windows XP, Office 2003 Professional and a wide range of subject-specific software. 

There are three dedicated ICT Suites and a growing number of departmental ICT areas throughout the school, notably in Music and Design Technology.
