Useful websites for further German practice

Below are some useful websites which the pupils might like to use to further practise their German:

	Languages Online This is a set of excellent online materials for beginners in German offered by the education authorities in the Australian state of Victoria. Visit the Languages Online website.
	German Learning Tour Another set of materials, some of them a bit harder, this time offered by the Canadian state of Alberta. They take the form of a virtual tour of Germany, and the section on Leipzig is a good introduction to talking about your family. Visit the German Learning Tour website.
	Sutton High School This comprehensive set of materials is offered by Sutton High School, and is organised in accordance with the UK national curriculum topics for modern foreign languages at Key Stage 2.
	Usbourne Here is a useful guide to online German resources offered by the publisher Usborne.
	Goethe Institut This website, organised by the “Goethe Institut”, can be useful for learning to talk about the home and its contents.
	UK German Connection UK German Connection offers some games and quizzes.
	Practice German vocabulary The following two websites offer educational materials ad resources to help practise German vocabulary where pupils have to hoose activities aimed at beginners. Many are pitched at higher level learners: Quizlet Quia
