Below are some useful websites which the pupils might like to use to further practise their German:

This is a set of excellent online materials for beginners in German offered by the education authorities in the Australian state of Victoria.

Another set of materials, some of them a bit harder, this time offered by the Canadian state of Alberta. They take the form of a virtual tour of Germany, and the section on Leipzig is a good introduction to talking about your family.
