Letter to a celebrity, by Annabelle
Dear Justin Bieber,
Please may you tell me the name of your next album? I think you are a great singer. I see you on TV. You are so cool. I wish I was a famous singer like you.
I want to meet you and go to your concert only if I can meet you. I have the Bieber fever but I can’t go out with you because I am only eight.
Lots of love,
Your biggest fan, Annabelle.

‘The Creepy Treasure Island’, by Ritaj
One day there were three girls who wanted to go to the Treasure Island. The next week they hired a boat. When they got to the boat, Annabelle stepped on something. “What’s that?” said Julia. “It looks like an old map.” They got to the island. Julia looked at the map and said, “there will be missing treasure.” Whilst they were walking, they heard scary and creepy noises. Annabelle had a feeling that it was pirates. “Don’t be silly,” said Julia. “Pirates don’t exist.” “But they do now! Runnnnnn!” They all screamed and screamed but they couldn’t stop screaming. The pirates’ plan was to kill the people, find the treasure and escape. Julia was very, very shocked. Her mum had told her pirates did not exist. “Maybe she was lying to me.” “Maybe she had never seen a pirate,” Ritaj said, “Just in the stories.” “Well, it’s true,” said Annabelle.
Suddenly the pirates were coming again. “Hide, quickly!” They shut their mouths and hid. The pirates went away. Ritaj found a sharp knife and when the three of them dug, we found a really fantastic thing. We found pieces of gold. “That meant the treasure is here somewhere. Just right here in this area.” The next day they dug but they couldn’t find the treasure, so they spent days and days digging. They couldn’t find it. Julia found a path. She saw footsteps and followed them with her friends. Then she said, “Oops! That was a pirate! Somewhere in this area. The treasure is somewhere in this area. Maybe it’s with the pirate. Let me dig here.” She dug and suddenly she found a huge box. She opened the box and then they got back home. The three girls sold the gold and kept the money.
