School Clubs
Clubs are run by staff in their own time, so prompt collection from these is appreciated. If you are delayed, please phone and let us know.
During the first full week at school a list of clubs will be sent home. Pupils will then be able to sign up for the clubs of their choice. Lists will be on the club notice board in the main hall and can be added to during the week. Registers will then be drawn up.
If your child will not be able to attend a club please inform the teacher concerned.
The clubs for the Summer Term 2010 are as follows:
MONDAY
- Computer Club for Form 2, 3 and 4 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mrs. Read
- Juggling Club for Forms 5 and Form 6 from 3.30pm to 4pm by Mr. Vernon
- Ballet* (details from the school office)
TUESDAY
- Art and Craft Club from 3.30pm to 4pm for Transition and Form 2
WEDNESDAY
- Games Club for Transition and Form 2, 3.30pm to 4pm
- Street Jam* for Reception to Form 6, 3.30pm to 4.30pm
THURSDAY
- Cookery Club dates and ingredients for Forms 5 & 6 with Mrs Pearcey until 5pm. Recipes can be found on our Recipes Page
- Cricket club dates for Forms 3 & 4, 5 & 6 run by Mr. O'Flaherty
FRIDAY
- Orchestra for Forms 3 to 6 from 9am to 9.30am with Mr. Carrington
- Choir for Forms 2 to 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mrs. Pearcey
- Judo*
* Ballet, Street Jam and Judo are provided for St. Winifred's School by external teachers for an additional charge to parents. The content of these clubs are not set by the School and all clubs are dependent on numbers.
