School Clubs
Clubs are run by staff in their own time, so prompt collection from these is appreciated.
If you are delayed, please phone and let us know. During the first full week at school a list of clubs will be sent home. Pupils will then be able to sign up for the clubs of their choice. Lists will be on the club notice board in the main hall and can be added to during the week. Registers will then be drawn up.
If your child will not be able to attend a club please inform the teacher concerned.
The clubs for the Spring Term 2012 are as follows:
Clubs start in the week commencing Monday19th September, with the exception of Choir which starts on Friday 9th September. Pupils should sign up for the clubs they are interested in on the club notice board in the School hall.
MONDAY
- Juggling Club for Forms 5 and Form 6 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mr. Vernon
- Art & Craft for Reception, Form 1 & Form 2 (max 10 pupils)
- Ballet * starting 12th September
TUESDAY
- School magazine 3.30pm to 4.10pm with Mr Sharkey
WEDNESDAY
- Drama Club for Forms 5 and 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm
- Basketball and Netball skills from 3.30pm to 4.15pm for Forms 4, 5 & 6
THURSDAY
- Judo * at lunch time, starting 15th September
- Board Games from 3.30pm to 4pm for Forms 3 and 4 with Mr Pascoe
- Cookery Club for Forms 5 & 6 with Mrs Pearcey from 3.30pm to 5pm (Max 12 pupils). Dates and ingredients here. Recipes can be found on our Recipes Page
- Singing Club from 3.30pm to 4pm for Reception and Form 1
FRIDAY
- Orchestra for Forms 3 to 6 from 9am to 9.30am with Mr. Carrington
- Choir for Forms 2 to 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mrs. Pearcey
* Ballet and Judo are provided for St. Winifred's School by external teachers for an additional charge to parents. The content of these clubs are not set by the School and all clubs are dependent on numbers.
